Incredible Tanning Power
The GenX 42-8 contains 42 Cosmolux VHR 9K90 160 watt lamps for Virtual HP performance, and eight 400 watt high pressure facial lamps. Unlike some other beds, the GenX 42-8 uses full 6-foot (F71) 160 watt lamps instead of shorter 5-foot (F59) 140 watt lamps. And for those tanners who feel that the 8 facial lamps are just too intense, they can be adjusted from 'turbo' to 'soft' setting for a slightly less dramatic experience.
Construction
Like all Sontegra beds, the GenX 42-8 is built like a tank! The structure
and shells are made of real steel, for the ultimate in strength and durability. Yet the unit has a classic, graceful look. And attention has been paid to every detail: there are no visible external screws or rivets, which give some other tanning beds that "made in shop class" look.
Comfort
With Sontegra's unique tanning tunnel design, the GenX 42-8 is a BIG
bed, accommodating even very tall and wide tanners. The bottom acrylic
surface is ergonomically curved for comfort, yet without forcing tanners'
arms into their sides. A central exhaust draws out an incredible 1560 cubic feet of heated air per minute! Three body-cooling fans can
be separately controlled by the tanner for maximum comfort.
